The detail in this last set of pics is truly incredible. :hail:

Did you change something in the way you process them?

This is just what it looks like when I actually pick up my camera in ernest and do some real photo work lol.. Camera on tripod, remote shutter, etc etc.. Then for that added detail you're probably talking about, all of these images were "focus stacked".. where you take however many photos you wanna take, focusing on a different spot each time, then blend them together in a program like photoshop. Takes a bit more work but you get awesome images like above.

I just keep coming back and oooogling the amazing detail - wow. Roughly how many images per pic? Do you use mirror lockup?

Yeah it really does make a huge difference, making every aspect of the image in focus.. For each pic I think I did between 8 and 12.. Didnt use mirror lock up on any of these, just remote shutter and tripod.. Shutter speed was around 1/30, and f/9 to 11 depending on the pic.

Hung out at a local wholesale nursery yesterday, and he kindly let me leave with these three amazing plants.. Added some nice variety to my meager VFT collection. :)

I absolutely fell in love with this one... Big red traps, yellowish green leaves with the hot pink center stripe...
