Anyone know when the last blue moon on the last day of the year took place.
Were having one tomorrow night. I. E. the second full moon in the same month.
Tides will swell , and stars will fall. Hence "once in a blue moon"
No..and no eclipses either!
Blue Moon has nothing to do with the odds of an eclipse.
A Blue Moon is really just a quirk of the man-made calendar, not of nature.
its just a perfectly normal full moon, same as the one that happens every month, but the blue moon just happens to fall twice in one calendar month..and the calendar month is a man-made unit of time, which means the concept of a "blue moon" is also a man-made concept..nothing at all to do with the actual moon itself, or the solar system..
