Ants on Rhizomes??

hello all,

well after re potting my Sarracenias, I saw that my bigger pots had thousands of ants inside the potting media and where concentrated on the Sarracenia rhizomes. I didn't see worms or anything of such thing but the ants where all over them so I sprayed them with a 3 in 1 product but have noticed what many are still crawling in the potting media. Should I be concerned about this or is this okay??

thank,

Jesse

Some ants farm piercing/sucking bugs like aphids, mealy bugs and scale. They bring them to your plant and cultivate them. I don't like ants.

Yeah, it's good that you sprayed. I suggest a full repot too.
