Well, I went on Wikipedia, and I have discovered a few surprising facts.

Apparently, our Pings and utrics are in the same order as Rosemary, basil, mint, and lavender.

members of the Drosera family are in the same order as our carnations and spinach.

Sarracenia/Heliamphora are allied with kiwi fruit, cranberries, tea, and blueberries! (as well as impatiens)

I wonder what happens if any of these plants ever became carnivorous? I love both tea and cranberry juice.
