Ooh, the plant tag hug - nice! I need to switch something up with my culture of that one!! Yours is inspirational.

Today, I divided the first Heliamphora which I received from a local friend @Werdna and he helped me with the method of growing them in ambient conditions within our homes here in the desert. It's grown very well and I've just moved it up in pots a few times. But I finally recognized it doesn't look as good as it should anymore. lol
Here is what I started with!

Mostly chopped up

All potted up (round pot I'm holding is the main plant)

And here is more like what the plant should look like

I guess you could say I have some extras :D

Indeed! Beautiful plant(s)! Looks like the props are getting some Exoterra spa treatment - nice!

What in the what! Wow! I've had sarrs do that, but not a ping. Wonder if it will make a habit of it?

It's flowered before and hasn't done this. There is another flower on it right now that's normal too.

Cool flower. It's a floriferous little dude.

Congrats on your heli successes. Which form of flytrap is the one with the mottled backs on the traps?

  • #154
Thanks, I'm super excited about the helis!
The flytraps are both seed grown of the same parents: Mini wolf x triton

So I've been building a new garage for 2 years
20250305_212850.jpg

took advantage of the indoor space and built a water table since the pot of Sarrs I've been trying outside is doing fine.

Thanks bud! I'm super excited to have recently gotten doors. Nice to finally not have to run out and cover the Bronco for sudden storms lol next up is the epoxy floor, not looking forward to that task, tbh (actially i think the wife wants to get the outside painted soon).

I believe this is the largest trapped VFT clone I grow, from a friend's seed grown crosses. I haven't done it justice, yet.
