These are both supposed to be Byblis liniflora. Note the thickened stem and red color on the plant on the right.

I'm a bit late on these. Sorry, but it is the busy time of year for me. Hopefully, better late than never.

Venus' Flytrap "Dirk Ventham's Giant" It isn't too clear how big this plant is in the photo but compare to the size of the pot tag.

The immense pitchers of Sarrencenia "Grendel"

The lovely Platanthera cilliaris.

A beautiful flower from a member of the genus Streptocarpus.

Wonderfully colorful flowers of a Sarracenia hybrid.

A particularly striking hybrid of Drosera capensis.

A nice, big flytrap.

Notice the lids on the pitchers.

I'd been wondering where the pictures were! Definitely some interesting plants this month.

Looks like a lot of Sarracenia were there. Are the lids on the plant in the last picture supposed to be like that?

Yeah there's a few Sarr cultivars with atrophied lids. I don't recall what this one's called.

our show and tell just keeps getting more and more dramatic, i can't wait till the leucos put out their fall foliage

I should have brought my oreo x flava in, but I didn't want to haul around such a large plant. It would have been right at home next to those monsters.

Here are the photos from last Saturday's excellent meeting. Hope you enjoy! I am trying new photo-hosting sites so please bear with me.

Just all sorts of goodies!

I've forgotten the genus for these flowers but they are just gorgeous.

Quite a density of utrics. Can you see the bladders?

We always seem to have beautiful pings.

BIG, nicely-grown D. regia plants.

This photo doesn't show the uniqueness of this Cephalotus well but it is hopefully to be a new cultivar - Ceph. "Elizabeth".

These Nepenthes ampullaria pitchers are big. That's a 6" pot!
