Since the quantity of photos we post makes it slow to check for meeting announcements it has been proposed that we create a thread strictly for the meeting photos, so here it is. Please feel free to post any photos you take at the meetings or group events here. The photos from previous get-togethers will stay with the meetings thread.

Here is what I have from the March 2017 meeting:

That's actually the Drosophyllum seedling, not the Byblis. Great pictures of lots of great plants though!

Nice! Mark's pics turned out way better than mine :hail: Again, great photos Mark!

I am not good at taking photos indoors under such lighting, too lazy to figure out how to adjust the camera for such so just point and shoot in auto, but here are a few that came out presentable without blur and graininess. And forget the people pics, hopefully someone else can take some decent group shots at future meets.

we had some insane plants at this one - that N. lingulata was a real eyeopener. I hope Kenji can make it again to the next meet.

the sheer rarity of some of the species we've been getting in is kinda mindblowing

and hey I was looking forward to pics of me hahahahah ah well maybe next time

Argh, did not realize it was so blurry until I uploaded it!

Also sort of blurry, may just be difficult to get a non-blurry pic in the dim pub lighting

I've decided to seek out P. laueana after seeing a flower in person

A pic of the little D. camporupestris I brought

And my little Byblis hid so well that nobody took a picture of it.

I realized that after I uploaded everything, sorry about that. I mostly took pics of the lingulata, as is quite clear.

Also, Mark's D. lanata (my first petiolaris Drosera) is settling in very well with my P. cubensis, D. burmannii, and U. fulva :D

Amazing plants you all have there!
Were they just for display or did you guys sell or swap them out amongst each other?

PS. That Burmannii is Huge! What do you feed that thing, chickens? :0o:

Everything pictured was just to show other than the Drosophyllum seedling. There were a number of other giveaway plants too - a few small Sarrs and a large D. capensis.

nimbulan it's a lot more flattering in that picture than it would be in the pub lighting, that's for sure. Also, Drosophyllum is doing well.

hahaha yup that's my burmannii, proud papa
feed them crickets. their tentacles are adapted to hold down terrestrial prey, medium crickets are no match for a sub adult plant

I didn't get pictures of every plant and sorry if I get any IDs wrong - just let me know so I can correct them. It was a fun time as always and somehow my streak of acquiring new Mexican Pinguicula at the meetups continues!
