A couple of jamban clones, post yours as well please

Well i have 2 N. jamban now, both clearly different clones and i was wondering how the others out there looked now since its been...oh id say 7 months since the big release of quite a few of these lovely plants. i have a lighter colored clone and a darker colored clone(which i just received from a member, who sadly, is having to stop highlanders so i will be taking care of his plants until he is ready for them again if he comes back into highlanders)

first off is a pitcher from my first clone of this plant, a lighter clone which i really have grown attached to.

And a pitcher from the plant i received, its darker which i absolutely love the color on this one. i hope that the two are different genders, as i would love to make species seed with the two

So how are your guys' N. jamban clones? Both of mine appear to be rather lanky growers, is this proving to be true with everyone elses as well?
Very vigorous it seems as well.
Please people, by all means share your thoughts or comments on this species and your experience with it as it is quickly becoming one of my favorite species, and would love to know how everyone else grows it.
Mine is enjoying ultrahighland conditions up here.

Perhaps I should save up for one. They seem like forgiving growers. :)

Inspirational photos really kill the size of my wallet! :p

I have one of those clones released around that very same time. Here is mine!

P.S. Yours is looking great!

mmm Jamban sound likes a deflightful little plant. Maybe someday... when I have more money to burn.

Very nice. :) I love miniature Neps.

Ok, here's my clone. This is its most recent pitcher. As you can see, the lid is non-existant. It's currently adjusting to a lower humidity environ. The plant is about 4" high, hard to tell with the moss. Mine is somewhat lanky also.

Here is my Nepenthes jamban, taken a short time ago. It has been grown outside as an ultra-highlander, along with N. macrophylla, N. hamata, N. jacquelineae, and N. villosa; and it is a vigorous grower, though a bit on the lanky side. I obtained the plant in a trade with another Terraforums member -- thanks again, aaddaam -- earlier this year and it has since also become a favorite . . .

ooh me rikey this thread, I'm going to be getting a jamban in about two and a half weeks so I'll try to post pics before it goes into the baggy for acclimation :)

I'm having a hard time deciding which I like more though, both the light and dark colored variations look so great!

both of my jambans currently have pitcher upcoming, so i will post those here as well once they open
the pitcher on the red clone is a very odd shape, more jamban-like than my lighter clone so far.

Here is a quick shot of Nepenthes jamban from this morning. I have noticed that, among my other Nepenthes, this plant lures and collects the lion's share of insects; and, in terms if its pitcher fluid, it strikes me as more a thick syrup than anything else . . .

Have other growers noticed or experienced this?

yeah ive noticed it.....mainly gnats and ants though lol

Mine seems to be quite picky about conditions. A spike in heat or a large drop in humidity and it will abort pitchers not yet inflated. But it is inflating one now, my fingers are crossed. I too noticed the pitcher fluid to be quite viscous. Great pic Bella.

Oddly in a turn of events with lighting, my darker clone is currently lighter than my lighter clone, but has a larger pitcher...
So here are some photos
So first off, the first jamban i got, (my lighter clone)

Very nice growing SK. Glad you could salvage some of those plants. If you like the jamban, just wait til you see the jacquelineae if it survived. Its pitchers are supper dark. Michael at CPJ always sends me supper dark clones. Anyway those are your plants for good now. I will be concentrating on Intermediates/lowlanders which are much easier where I live due to climate. I finally got my intermediate/lowlander greenhouse built and running. I love highlanders but cannot find anyone reliable to take care of them when I have to travel for work/extended periods.
I hope some of the hamatas also made it; especially the basal from capslock. It was really nice before the neglect of my caretaker.

macamus, sadly 2 plants did die, the xTrusmadiensis and the smaller hamata clone from max, though i think the hamata has potential to come back from basals still, root system still looks alive/healthy even with a dead plant...i wont give up hope, ive had miracles. lol
the ramispina is in flower right now, and the jacq is coming around. most of the plants are doing really well, a couple died back but have come back from either basals or nodes....
3 of the hamata came in with broken growth tips, im surprised i saved em all but the 1, but we will see how they all do come time for my greenhouse, thanks again macamus, i cant wait to see the jacq pitchers....
