    Drosera tokaiensis germination

I've got a few Drosera tokaiensis which germinated a couple of weeks ago. It's my first carnivorous seed ever to germinate! I've also got some Drosera binata seedlings, but I haven't taken photos of those. Maybe later.

How does one tell them apart?

Ok I was just looking up some pictures of the few dews I have. How does one tell the different dews apart? I am talking about like D. tokaiensis from d. intermedia to d. capillaris. They all look the same basicly. Is it because of the flowers? Basicly like how the majority of Cattleya orchids...

I had ordered some Drosera tokaiensis seeds from the ICPS seedbank a while ago, and planted them in a pot with a 50/50 peat/sand mix. I kept it nice and wet with lots of light and warmth. But, nothing happened for over a week. So, I thought (being the rather impatient person I am) that the seeds...

    D. tokaiensis -- sundew growing on scape

I was looking at a pot of D. tokaiensis, and there are prolific numbers of flower scapes in it. I noticed a small sundew rosette growing off one of the scapes. If I can, I'll get a pic of it and post it tomorrow. Wierd! There's a term for new plant growth off a floral scape... it was in one...
