Ok I'm Over Run By Spanish Moss
The weight of it snapped the center support poll in my greenhouse
So I think it's time to get rid of some
This stuff grows like CRAZY if given the right conditions
My main interest is in Highland Neps not on my grow list / Vent crosses are a big +
But I am VERY...
i got tired of my old 18in flourescents and made this thing instead. i just cut holes in some plexiglass and fitted some reptile light fixtures in it with 6500K CFLs. i still had room for a long tube fixture so i kept it there. im wondering if i should just get rid of it and add a third CFL in...

While roaming around my local Home Depot today, I saw a stand of really nice, big looking Tillandsias that weren't their usual :censor: brand, so I yoinked them - bulbosa, ionantha, graomogolensis and tenuifolia (from their tags). Pic:
I might go back for more because there's one that almost...
Hey, all. I have several small Cephalotus. I've decided to try a naturalistic terrarium with a lot of epiphytes, a wood/foam back wall, orchids, tillandsia and small bromeliads. Of course I'll still have CP's, but I'll be sticking to Drosera, a few small Nepenthes, Pinguicula and Utricularia...
As most reptile keepers know, having crickets around almost always means having escaped crickets around. Until just a few minutes ago, I was keeping my lowland tank on its side, on the floor in my reptile room. I use sphagnum moss as a substrate to keep up humidity. I haven't been paying much...
I know this is fairly unlikely, but does anyone have one of these, and does it really smell like cloves? I'm trying to add plants with interesting scents to my collection, and this sounds easier to grow than real cloves. If you've got one to spare, send me a PM and I'll give you an overview of...
Heyo people!
Here are a few pictures from this year's Flower festival at Aibonito Puerto Rico. Lots of really cool stuff this year. I actually found some Nep rafflesiana plants! I really wish I could have stayed longer, but I have a test coming up. :( There are also a few pictures of several...
Here are some Tillandsia photos from my Family Medicine Hospital rotation. I don't know if he's still around, but I know that fatboy will love them. :)
In Tillandsia, a streptophylla x concolor hybrid looks vastly different from a concolor x streptophylla hybrid.
Does the same hold true of nepenthes? Doese a rafflesiana x ampullaria look completely different from an amupllaria x rafflesiana?
I saw a comment that this plant was being depleted by collecting for ceremonial use - anyone have any information on what the ceremonial use involves please???
Best regards
Chris
This was at the california state university of fullerton greenhouse run by Ed Read (previously Leo Song). Many of the photos posted near the begginning are noncarnivore.

<span style='color:teal'>Hello guys!
Yesterday i was working with my Nep's. I was moving some of them to a new site and cleaning the pots of others. While i was working with my bicalcarata a pitcher fell down for the pot, and guess what, the pitcher touched my lips.
This pitcher was...
