Wanted to post some photos of my red cephs. They seem to have very short petioles compared to the regular photos of cephs I've seen. Wonder what they'll look like during maturity. But alas, I think that's easily 2 years away.
Wish my mature ceph were half way as healthy as these fellows. Shucks...
Here it is a month ago...
...and here it is now. (ba BAM!)
It's starting to color up too. In bright light, the insides of the traps are distinctly pink, and the trigger hairs are now purple.
And here you go, a tried and true in the "flesh" VFT freak trap. It is halfway split down the...
That's my bigmouth. She's growing in a five inch pot. I did have two main growth points, but over the past month one died and was replaced by several baby sprouts.
I hate how weak my coloring is and how long my petioles are. I can't wait till the weather gets better here so they can go...
Mad props to Tony and Ludwig for supplying me with these. Fantastic.
First up is N. bicalcarata "Red" X campanulata. I got this one because I liked the shape of the petioles, not so much the pitchers (Which I do like, still). I couldn't fine a regular N. campanulata either lol.

Following is a photo I recently took of a Drosera capillaris plant whose parents originated in the same location as Drosera 'Emerald's Envy'.
Here is an image of a young plant of Drosera 'Emerald's Envy', rapidly approaching flowering size:
The morphology of these two, "sister" plants...
Recently I moved my D. petiolaris "red" from the window sill to a grow rack. It immediately became redder and dewier. It has begun to flower with 2 stalks. I noticed today that the newest petioles are much shorter than the older ones. Is this a result of flowering, or is it an indication of...
I thought you might all enjoy a pic of how the D. aff. brevicornus looks like in about 3 weeks of being in a well lighted tank!
Here is the before:
and the after:
I like how the petioles have darkened considerably!

Hi folks,
I have a very nice mature division of my Utric. humboldtii available. It currently has petioles approx. 8 to 10 inches tall with leaves 2-1/3 to 3 inches long. This is a very good size division, not a dinky little thing.
I am looking specifically for a veitchii highland striped...
Hey,
As I'm sure you all know, the petiolaris drosera have pretty long roots. But for some reason, whenever I see them (and buy them for that matter) they're in these little 2 inch pots. Would it be wise to repot them into a bigger pot? If so, how big? What sort of negative effect would a small...
This is a lively grower and spreads rapidly. The petioles are shorter then with a typical capensis, and somewhat almond shaped. Starting bid $3. Winning bidder to pay for shipping.
Would a kind moderator fix my typo in the title please.

Hello everyone
I bought another Nepenthes at the city mall today. Any help identifying this hybrid would be nice since I have almost no clue whatsoever as to what its parentage is (I can take a guess at either parent). Sorry for the blurry pics, I used a camera I'm not used to.
The pitchers...
Thought I'd throw some pics out since the growing season is slowing down but I'm excited and very pleased with how my first attempt at CPS went this summer, especially with my VFTs. Here's some progress on my 'big mouth' plants. I thought after I planted them they were goners as the leaves died...
Hey, everyone;
haven't posted for awhile; but I have a quick question. I don't have pics but will be descript.
I have about 40 commons twelve weeks since bare root bought from Phil (of course) I potted them in 50/50 Canadian Sphagnum peat and perlite.
Overall, they appear very healthy, but...
