Anyone know the best method for seeding d. Macrophylla and d.glanduligera? Has anyone ever used g43 or something like that? Also does utric multifida need a burn or strat?
Hi everyone...especially Jens,
If you guys are seeing this...please tell me if I can do something...or if its all over. I woke up this morning to see the humidifier water empty and the duct tube that brings in outside air just blowing air into the tank. Normally this hasn't been a problem...
I'm going on a major nep shopping trip in a few days... Well, my first nep shopping trip, anyways. I am looking to get some forgiving ones. One that are resilient in cooler and hotter temperatures, ones that humidity swings won't kill, ones that like lots/little sunlight.
I did some research on...
A few people have asked me why I never post pics, maybe I will start to post some if I actually have a topic started. So here's a few to kick things off that I took while watering tonight.

They make great clear pots for cephs and regia, which have really long roots. Also going to be converting my tuberous dew collection to these pots...

I am not interested in...
Hi folks,
I've been raising this nep since it was a rootless bud from Wistuba. It was sold to me as a N. macrophylla but recent reports state that a lot of the so called macros from Wistuba turned out to be N x Trusmadiensis. I think it's reached a point where it maybe possible to make a...
This spefic plant has never really done well for me and I'm getting another one with darker color so I figured I'd try to trade this one. I need to ship this thing out wensday as it will be above freezing. If temps in your area will be routinely below freezing then shipping is at your own risk...

I am working with a researcher at the University of Arizona who is studying carnivorous plant genomes. He is particularly interested in plants with the smallest genomes and Genlisea aurea and margaretae are at the top of his list. It is difficult to obtain much test material because these plants...
