Up for auction is one Pinguicula laueana, offered by PetFlytrap. If you're not familiar with this butterwort species, this species is the ONLY butterwort which produces brilliant, scarlet-red flowers! Adult plants can be over eight inches in diameter...a WHOPPER of a Ping! Couple this with their...

After switching water sources, my CPs are all looking much better. Now I'm working on rebuilding the collection that took a hit this winter when the RO water machine was filling my bottles with hard water instead. We're talking capensis and adelae dying kind of bad!
Trade options are limited...
Hi All,
I'm putting up this list- I'm trying to gauge how to go about doing this: I'm hoping to offer the following to those in the general area where I live, near Philadelphia, PA, or anyone who wants to come here from where ever, as I'm pretty sure some would drive a bit for some of these...
My main interest is to have in my collection, every last known pinguicula so if you have one not on my grow list let me know. Beyond my Ping obsession i have very good luck with petiolaris and tuberous drosera and would like to enlarge my collection of them too. I always have lots of nepenthes...
Greetings from Southern California! My name is Julia and I am a student at UCLA. I grow slipper orchids, paphiopedilums and phragmipediums, cacti, and up until last summer had a fairly substantial collection of pings, cephs, and N. ampullaria. Unfortunately, I entrusted them to a friend while I...

Hey,
im going to start a windowsill collection and i need some advice and suggestions. Any suggestions on what plants are good for windowsills will be joyfully excepted
i have a sunny window sill which gets
- 3-10 hours of intense light (seasonal changes)
- 60-80 % humidity
-and 55-80 night...
I made this list up for another thread of what I grow as windowsill plants. I was curious what plants others grow this way.
When I first started to grow CP's, I also thought you had to have high humidity. My first tank has water in the bottom of it all the time to keep the humidity up. The top...

It's got the great color from laueana and veins from emarginata. The leaves are not too shabby either. They're a nice red.
