i was just wondering , i know that sauromatum venosum and amorphophallus konjac go dormant , but when do you wake them up . what temps do i eekp them during fdormancy , do i acutally have to remove the tubers and store them dry ?

The Amorphophallus konjac I got a while back has just sent up a new growth right next to the base of the original plant. At the moment there is simply a blunt pink "thorn" coming up from the soil, is this a common occurance?
