Hi,
My Dr. sargentii is just starting to flower, now I'm wondering, do the flowers weaken the plant and should I cut them of ? Or can I just let them grow.
I'm going for the safe options cause i don't have a lot of them, but i would like to see some flowers though...

I've never taken photos of my pygmy drosera, so I thought I'd do them all at once today. They live outdoors year round on my deck. I got almost all of these as gemmae from Tamlin, jeez, almost 2 years ago now. All of them have lived, in various rates of success, through some abuse. Oh, and some...

I just went outside today, moving all my plants while they tear down my deck, and noticed the D. echinoblastus in full flower action. I'd only ever seen one open before. These are big, showy orange flowers on this pygmy!

Hey,
I was outside today and caught one of my pygmies flowering. I'd never seen one of these before, and thought it was a cool flower. It's D. echinoblastus, grown from gemmae from Tamlin:
The picture is kinda blury, but it's hard to focus on a tiny flower!

Hi everyone,
While everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is busily collecting gemmae from their plants, and Tamlin is frantically sending out SASEs full of them, down here in Australia the pygmy Drosera are in full flower and putting on a stunning display. Here are a few shots from my collection...
Here is a scan of the plant that Tamlin can't spell. Actually, Drosera echinoblastit might not be bad, but no, it is echinoblastus! For those growwing this plant, the flowers will be a real treat, and may be viewed in the Pygmy section of my website at:
The flowers are vivid orange, and have...
Well, I do try, but I make mistakes too. The Drosera echinoblasta I sent out should be Drosera echinoblastUS. Please update your labels, and put me in for another pieing at the First International PFT Picnic, whenever the heck that is.
Other mistakes include D. burmanii: should be D. burmannii...
