My U. calycifida is starting to take over my terrarium. I need to thin it out some. I would like to trade for other Utrics or pygmy gemmae. The only particular things that I'm looking for are maybe U. longifolia or U. reniformis. I'll consider most anything.
Thanks,
Crystal

So I recall a while back someone somewhere made a comment that there was not a lot of information on these guys and that that was the reason no one grew them or took up offers for them.
I was drafting up something for a friend and decided to go whole hog so here you go.
And please remember...
I'm pretty sure my U. calycifida is sending up a flower stalk because there is a little ball-ish thing in the growth crown thing of one of the plants, and it is not a leaf, I'm sure. It's still really small, but I used a magnifying glass, and I'm pretty sure that that's what it is. Sorry for...
This is a list of my extra plants. Trade offers will come first, but then as my habit, will give out the rest for postage. I have two people that I am sending boxes to before anyone else. Their plants are not reflected here.

Of the following species from my Grow List, which is now pared down, due to winter losses, which would benefit from having colder temps and which are better off remaining at my window sill at room temp all year round.

I somehow stumbled upon the bladders of my U. calycifida, and decided to take pics of them since there was a lot and they were so big. I even circled them for you guys.
Notice the little fuzzy guide hairs at the front of the traps:

I've been busy repotting my plants and trying to eradicate (or at least control) non-sphagnous mosses in my indoor greenhouse.
This typically involves bare-rooting the plant in question (I even did this with a U. calycifida and a U. tridentata tonight), repotting in fresh medium, and...

Now to me they look like the same plants. So after having them for awhile now i decided to look up a few pics of the surface parts.

I transplanted 5 mature P. primuliflora plants in 3"x3" pots, and this exercise yielded 44 P. primuliflora plantlets. These i transplanted to my plug tray, so I should have a bumper crop in a couple months, when they are large enough to ship.
I also made single leaf pullings of several...
