Hey,
I have a bunch of stuff that I wondered if anyone would want to trade for. I have several pads of my eastern prickly pear cactus (hardy to at least zone 5 w/o winter protection) that are eagerly spreading right into the walkway to attack passersby that I am planning on removing so those up...
Well, last week I found a Saguaro fruit on the fround that hadn't been picked clean by the birds (99.9% of them are) before it fell off the cactus. I was pleasantly suprised to find several seed still in the pod, so I'm going to give them away. They are small seed, about the size of this 'o'...
I think I'm going to give Terracycle another shot. I stopped using it because I thought it was rip off when it comes to price, but now I'm going to play with it again since I'm downsizing anyway and it has less crap in it than what I already use. Maybe it won't burn one of my plants, is what I'm...

Any ideas what the plant is in this picture. Ok let me specify, the plant in between the hanging donkey's tail and the pots of cactus...Kinda tall with wide flat leaves? Any hints? Lemme try posting the pic. It is kinda tall and leggy and I wanted to know what it was before I started lopping...
Hi All:
My heliamphora has mealy bugs. I sprayed it with neem oil as I wasnt sure what kind of insecticide to use on it. I know they were mealy bugs because they were soft, white and fuzzy. I was kind of surprised to see them on this plant since they usually stay on my orchid cactus, but they...
Up for donation / trade is a San Pedro cactus cutting I recieved from avi8tor recently. It's about 20" long. I didn't check with the wife before thinking it would be neat to have a large cactus growing around the porch. Turns out I was wrong. So anyone interested pm me. Trade takes priority...

Hello - I'm new here, just thought I'd say my welcome's before asking a question. :-)
a year or so ago a friend gave me a cactus and it has become my favorite in my entire cacti garden (I have about 8 others). Trouble is I have no idea what kind of cactus it is and I'd like to give either...
Hello all
Hmmm well where do I start. My name is Steve Hatfield, I was bitten by the cp bug about 2 weeks back when I bought 4 sick pitcher plants on clearance at Lowes. (Unless you count the several flytraps, I killed many years back) I live in presently snowy central Indiana. Im a master...
My mom accidently leaft her christmas cactus out overnight and it froze :headwall:, so she proceded to cut off all of the branches because they were all frozen and dead looking. It wouldn't be a big deal, but it was her mother's plant, and I would like to have my grandmother's plant stay alive...
I got a few pads of an unknown "Mexican cactus" from my dad's co-worker to grow. I thought I would try cutting one if the pad into smaller sections so that each segment would have a cut side and then a normal "sealed" edge of the pad with the plan to place the cut edge in the soil once the cut...
Hi,
I was wondering if someone could put a species ID on this aloe, I got it a few months ago from a garden shop. It is windowsill grown, I water it once or twice every two weeks.
Thanks!
I have 2- 12" San Pedro (Echinopsis pachanoi, syn. Trichocereus pachanoi) cuttings for trade, these have been laying around the house and have started to send out roots and show new growth which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cuttings (90 degrees)
its a shame to see these go...
If by any chance, anyone here still remembers me, I'm backkkk! :0o: I knew all along I wouldn't be able to quit CPs for long, and here it is just a year and a half later and I'm already looking to scratch an itch. The Nep sub-forum seemed like a good place to start since I visited it most...

Two aliens landed in the Arizona desert near a gas station that was closed for the night. They approached one of the gas pumps and the younger alien addressed it saying, "Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace. Take us to your leader."
The gas pump, of course, didn't respond. The younger alien...
