Hey guys, it's me again (oi, stop rolling your eyes ;) )
I have a 20 gallon aquarium converted to terrarium with door-mounted fan ventilation (time cycled).
Climate:
Daytime: 82-88 degrees (I can make it hotter), 75-85% humidity - usually hovers ~ 82%
Nighttime: 76-82 degrees, 85-95% humidity...
I have a few questions I'd like to ask
The First question is about the first plant pictured. I'd like to know if it is normal for a sarr to grow pitchers so different in size? When I bought it it had the tiny pitchers then it put out the middle size ones and just recently it put out the tallest...
My collection is starting to grow pretty well now. I figured I'd take some pics to help me document their growth. There pretty low quality and my camera skills are terrible (I was gonna post some pics of my capensis and binata too but I couldn't get the camera to focus and they were blurry) so...
I've had my speckled amp for a couple weeks now and its still looking sad. I've looked all over but for some reason I haven't found much solid cultivation info. I have several questions that I need answers on and since most people on here are excellent growers and I can get many opinions I...

I am a lowland nepenthes enthusiast with limited growing room. By far, my favorite nepenthes is N. belli. I love the plant's small stature and tubby pitchers. However, I(along with many others) have noticed a suspicious amount of variabillity among N. belli clones.
I am not a taxonomist, nor...
I am setting up a lowland terrerium to grow lowland nepenthes. I have not had much long-term sucess with nepenthes in the past, but I think this time I will be sucessful.
Right now I have 2 empty tanks that I could use, a 20 gallon tank and a 50 gallon tank. I think I will use the 50 gallon, but...

Hi guys. I have to let my babies go in place of highlanders. I'll set up the tank, take temp measurements and then decide on the offers. I hate to let them go, especially the bical x camp, but it's a new learning experience and i'm sure I'll learn to love highlanders/intermediates.

I've got 2 spikes of a male bellii x ventricosa forming. They are still partially sheathed by a leaf. I'm going to college within a year and don't have years to invest in growing from seed so you'll get the pollen for free, but in 8 years when I'm hopefully a doctor don't be surprised if I come...

Do you find an advantage to using natural fertilizer over artificial?
Here's 3 consecutive pitchers of N. bical "red" x campanulata. If anyone else has one of these I'd love to...
I got a cutting from my Nepenthes and I put it in distilled water with sphagnum moss in it, I then planted it in wet Peat moss in the water, and after a week or so growth seemed to continue! I guess it seems it may be rooted! N. medusa is a very rare combination of N. bellii and x sibuyanensis...
