First start by cleaning out the aquarium.
Then I used a plastic tube, long enough so it that goes from one corner of bottom of the aquarium, to the far corner, and then out so you can add a spout for watering.
Drill holes in the tube at a couple inch intervals to allow water to seep out...
When I was new to the hobby, and scarfng up every trading post offering possible, all I did was sprinkle seeds on the slightly wet surface of pipette containers. I shut the lid and placed at a window sill. In about 3 weeks, most of the time, seeds germinated. For the past year or so, I've been...
There is a lot of bog here in southeast Alaska. So I more or less just put a terrarium outside, threw some live spaghnum moss in there and planted a few native carnivores, it's not very impressive but it is also extremely easy to take care of, I virtually don't.

Hi! I recently fed some black ants to my droseras and i was surprised that most species (peltata, pygmies, rotundifolia, anglica, burkeana, etc...) suffered harm to their leaves and they died (of course ants escaped). Here is an example of d. anglica (note the dead new leaf):
Now is it the...

I am currently finalizing a multi-plant trade with another grower that was initiated last fall. It appears that he may not have an interest in all of the plants I have available. The following plants are likely to be available for trade (but there is some chance this could change as we have more...
Hi everyone! I had selfed the first flower and the second just opened yesterday. I had collected fresh pollen 3 Q-tips worth of pollen this morning and is viable to about the end of the month. I am looking for anything not on my growlist other than D. capensis, D. adeale, typical vft, etc. I...
This Drosera came as a seed in a pack of labeled D. spatulata, it formed a hibernaculum this winter and went through 3 months of dormancy so my guess is that it's D. intermedia from it's look. I'd also say it's not D. anglica but I could be wrong.
Any other suggestions...
