Doing it wrong until I do it right.

My N. alata is still fairly small and young (it has one 1.5" pitcher and is forming two more). It grows in a 14 hour photoperiod provided by bulbs and is a little over 80 F during the day (not sure at night - my temp monitor broke before my new setup).

The two bottom leaves do not have pitchers and have started to turn yellowish. One was even a little brown this morning so I cut it off. Is this natural or should I look to troubleshoot some other problems?

Thanks for your help.

Okay. Thanks, Ben. I assumed as much but wanted to make sure. The two leaves used to have pitchers on them but I think they took some damage during mailing and the acclimation period.
