Yellow Bellied Slider

A few days ago I was needed to go to the store. About 1/4 mile from my house is a pond. Right infront of the pond I saw a large turtle crossing the road. Of course I stopped. It was a yellow bellied slider. I picked it up and put it in the back of my van. I went on to the store. While I was in the store the turtle crawled all around the van looking for a way out. I took the turtle home so I could get some pics of it.

Look at the pattern on the shell.

After I finished taking pics, I drove him back down to the pond and let him go.

Well here's one video. The other failed. Youtube has been doing that to me a lot lately.
I don't know why.
