When the bad guys attack your seeds

I have planted some Drosera seeds, but thing is this green layer of what looks like really REALLY small grass has appeared therefore maybe damaging my seeds. If anybody has any way to defeat this annoying stuff, please can you inform me.

That really small grass could be in fact your new Drosera seedlings! Let them grow on a bit.

They have been there for about 2 weeks, and haven't had any improvement, so i'm not sure. If I had my digi camera working I would have posted a picture. How long does it usually take?
