What Use in a Terrarium to to hold plants above water level?

Getting There...
So I am working on getting better humidity for some of my Neps and basically want to do a tray method in a sterilite container. Any suggestions on a cheap and/or easy to obtain material to set plants on that keeps them above the water level in the bottom of the container? Thinking something along the lines of a wire cookie cooler...sorry if I'm not explaining everything the best, but I hope you get the point!

Thanks for the help!
Kyle

Yup light grate, light diffuser or egg crate (all the same thing) is great. I take a pvc pipe and cut 3" lengths then put the egg crate on top to raise the egg crate above the water.

Yep! This is back when I had freshly set it up... I ran it for a couple years- worked great. =)
