What species of butterwort is this?

I saw this picture of a butterwort in a biology book when I was in middle school. Any idea what species it is?

hard to tell without a flower....ive got a half dozen differnt pings that look like that

I'm not entirely sure, but I would guess that it's P. moranensis.

My own guess is that it is a variety of Pinguicula moranensis, as w03 has said. It appears to be growing very much like the nursery, California Carnivores often grow theirs, with a soil-surface binding companion growth of low mosses.

LOL! It's the companion mosses that have me intrigued. Is this the same moss?
