waterfall

So i have my closet set up with a grow rack and on the opposite wall i want to make a multi level waterfall in the corner, ive seen some made with drift wood and expanding foam. I know expanding foam is non toxic to humans when dry but will it be safe for my plants if i plant like sundews throughout it? Any one every do this and have any tips it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd make one out of large lava rocks bonded together with aquarum cement....and put a larer of the same cement on the back of the waterfall to ensure that they don't have any seepage due to them being porus.
