hehe, if you just do it as described above it should be fine. BUT ALSO! keep in mind, that many many CP growers don't do anything to their planting media. So the rince procedures by many people is said to be "extra unessasary work"

Arrg! Maybe I should start over with new sand and wash that with distilled instead of tap! This is getting too confusing I think.

actually... If your tap water is decnet hardness wise, it is most likely lower in TDS than you peat was... i have tested peat at a starting point of 2000 PMM TDS wich is pretty high! So, just rince what you got a few times.. and it'll be fine i'd say.

Ok. Tomorrow I will wash it one more time with distilled, then use it to pot up my sandersonii.
