Sessile glands on rather drab garden center VFT

Not to hijack the thread, but this pic shows the sessile glands on my Drosera regia. I find they look strikingly similar to those of a flytrap.

The glands look strikingly similar to those on flytraps because they're RELATED. Scientists hypothesize that Dionaea actually EVOLVED from the early ancestor of modern sundews.
