Vining Green Plant With Marron/Red Flowers (?)

Goofzilla

I'm Stratified
Hey guys,

I've had this vining plant that has medium sized leaves - with almost a fuzzy texture. Very fine though.

It's very hardy and blooms a couple times a year - tube shaped flowers that are a dark maroon, and when they open up a brilliant bright red.

They look similar to the 'dynamite plant's' flowers, if you're familiar with that one.

I'm going to try and snap a few pictures of it soon. - thanks for any ideas as to what it may be!

I assume you are talking about a "house plant" (?). Could it be one of the lipstick plants (I believe the Genu Aescynanthus, that is off the top of my head so could be wrong). What is a "medium size leaf"? Are they simple, oval leave? Coloration? Any other details? Of course, a picture would be most helpful.....

Oh man, you're good! I looked up Aescynanthus & this is the exact plant:

A. radicans.

Thanks a lot - out of curiosity is propagating best done by cuttings?
Thanks again.
