Vft turning yellowish brown?

Hi all,

My VFT has 5 traps... 2 traps are turning yellowish brown... is this a problem or is it natural? 1 more trap has a dark spot after it sealed up, digesting some insect. So that leaves only 2 traps working fine. Is this all right?

If they were older traps, I would say dont worry about it... and for the one that turned brown after it ate, it might have been too big of a bug for it. They will probably be replaced by new traps soon.

sad to say, I was the one who threw the bug into the trap... heh... hopefully the VFT grows new traps soon!
