using lfs for neps

Um yes... couldn't you have looked on this forum instead of making a separate thread, there many relevant threads.

It is commonly used in nep mixes with bark, perlite, and such, aim for more airy mixes, which are better for preventing root rot, and some neps like it like that more.
 
I've got a couple Nepenthes in just plain LFS. They grow just fine.

So yes, definitely. It's a great water holder, and not too dense. Good with things like tree fern fiber, which has a rigid structure and will help prevent compaction.
