Alright I have 6 acreas of forest and TONS of nice tree moss.
I have removed some and dried it it seems pretty nice and holds water well for basket lining,top dressing of random orchid pots or whatever but it won't work for CPs but I have never tried using it as a dressing though. I can get as much as you like well there an obvious limit since I like to remove a partial amount so it can regrow since I know many people will (companies mostly) strip it all of and create a ecological pickle. Now to remind you it's on my property so I'm not taking anything away from anything. I can ship it fresh ,alive and clean or dried clean and dead.
