Tongerense Heide, Netherlands, local bog

I went to the a bog near my place today and took some pics.
The pics aren't that great, it took about an hour walking on sand @ 90f + temps so when i finally found them i didn't have much energy left :-))

This looks interesting but it was too hot to go over there :P

I went this way:

First sign of water after about 45 min of walking.

It looked really interesting but the terrain went down quite a bit from the road and the ground between the road and the water was covered with kneehigh shrubs.
It was waaay to hot to crawl through that.

10 minutes later there was more water and better access to it.

There were a lot of D. Intermedia there :D
Interestingly these plants look a lot different from the generic intermedia's i've got from different vendors.
These are waaaaay redder, a lot smaller and look drier overall.

Something else that looks nice but isn't a dew.

Any pitcher plants? OH WAIT, they don't exist there!:-)) nice bog!

Thanks for the photos. It's always nice to see CPs in situ, especially when you don't have to experience the heat. Where in the Netherlands is that? Is it in an area that is below sea level? Go Oranje! (or whatever you guys say)

There are also D. Rotundifolia and P. Vulgaris in that area.
I don't think there are any utrics there.
@Tropics: it's on the edge of a forested hill area called "the Veluwe".
Im guessing it's about 50 meters above sealevel.
