Hi,
I am thinking about trying TC, but I would like to read up some more before I try.
So does anyone have any suggestions on a good book on this subject? And know were I could get it?
Check out : www.phytotechlab.com and send the email request for their catalog, it's awesome and free (or used to be) and has every tool, chemical, or device you could imagine. A total 1 stop shop!
I like how all the Material Safety sheets of the Phyto Labs chemicals contain "mutagenic" properties...
All of the above is great info. Really dig into Carol Stiff's Kitchen Culture Kit website. She has alot of simple things you can do on the cheaper side. You can attend one of her workshops if they are near you too or just join the KCK listserve. Good Luck
I find it very interesting how things morph and change on the internet..
Geckos signature is not the original bunny!
someone altered him from his original form.
Hmm I was mistaken, just buy the "Basic" kit. I still recommend getting the Basic Kit instead of the 'CP' kit; the 'Basic' comes with more stuff that you can use later. You'll want to get a pH meter as well, this is the one I got: http://www.hydroponics.net/i/211035
The 7.0 solution can also be used as a storage solution for your meter.
The kit & the meter at the same time might be a pretty penny, if you're in a pinch you can use the pH papers supplied with the kit. They were just very frustrating for me.
btw, here's a link to my lessons learned for my second round of TC, It might be helpful:
