The first devil is born

i sowed these about 5-6 days ago IFRC....
Proboscidea parviflora var. hohokamiana
the leaves are already incredibly sticky looking, here is a crappy cellphone photo. once my camera batteries are charged, ill snap a good shot of it.
this is the first of 6 seeds i sowed. still have pleanty left, just wanted to start some up now

As soon as you cam, it should go outside. They get leggy and fall over if they don't get enough light.

i counted 3 more sprouts today.
the plants are now outside...getting rained on -.-
ill bring them in on the nights where the temps drop below 40 to be safe, like joosa did

Congrats on the seedlings! They look cute and cuddly now, but just wait a few weeks.

Ah mine are outside and sprouting in the rain, with nights in the 40s and days barely into the mid 50s...and they seem to be growing fine
