Not sure about the var, alba part..look at the red in one of the pitchers, I stand corrected. Nice looking sarrs TOG

var. alba is notable due to the extremely high white in the pitcher, especially in the interior where veins can be almost absent. Your plant, unless it had a distinct label, is simply a nice leuco clone.

@ TOG: Location data or not, that's a beautiful Leuco. Wish we had things like "CP shows", whatever those are.

You'll be able to tell if it's a var. alba once it makes fall pitchers. Those are usually much paler.

In winter, don't forget to label them as rotten vegetables.

I asked mike wang on this issue and this is what he said, his exact words.

"with 100% certainty, that's S. leucophylla Hurricane creek white."

A white rescue phal, first orchid for me. Got it to bloom again

"Rescued" another phal next to the white phal, this one has dark purple flowers. Will try my luck to get it to flower as well.
