first, do the colder temps ever pose a problem for the little guys? Second, can they bypass their first dormancy period being so tiny? im guessing no but just curious.
They usually can bypass their first dormancy if kept properly warm, but some will make sure they go dormant on their own. Colder temps may prompt them to go dormant earlier.
