sprouting in sphagnum moss- will it work

so I just got my little seeds out of the fridge form stratification, put them in a paper towel... now what do I do to get them growing?
can I sprout them in sphagnum moss?

what should I do?

I'm sure they will sprout in sphagnum, you might tear it up so that is doesn't outgrow em.

it is the brown stuff you get in a bad...going to wash it good..

so should I just sprinkle them all over the pot..I have a good bit of them.

There is a good chance they will have a high germination rate, so you might do multiple pots if you have room, but yea, you can sprinkle them on top, keep it moist and warm and wait!

Yeah sphagnum moss works very well!

If you can get it, milled sphagnum (similar to peat) is great for germinating seeds -- and prevents "damping off" (fungal) disease. The seedlings below were grown in a compost of milled sphagnum and quartz sand. The only problem I have had with live sphagnum is its overgrowth of seedlings . . .
