Some Spring Sarracenia . . .

Here are some shots of Sarracenia x aerolata and an emerging pitcher of Sarracenia leucophylla "Titan," which is finally living up to its reputation this season. It is already approaching 1 meter in height and is still developing. Another shot of the S. leucophylla cv. "Titan" and S. flava "Cutthroat" follow.

Did I also mention that the persistent humming of trapped pests from my Sarracenia crop this year sounds like an electrical transformer? I can almost hear Vincent Price's voice,

"Marvelous . . ."

Thanks. it often helps to have a dark or neutral background; otherwise, it's far too busy with dozens of pitchers in view. I was never a fan of "Where's Waldo?" . . .
