I went overseas and came home to find that this fella had germinated. It was a one-year old seed. The first pix was taken on 23 Dec 2005. The second is taken today, 29 Jan 2006.

All I had was two strands of root of 1mm thick. The original plant from Triffid Park kicked the bucket within days of arrival. From the roots I have these and all many other younger plants!

So easy to grow that we kinda forget how amazing it can be. Vegetative proximis - asexual reproduction on its flower stalk!
