i got a few from Xantius back around the beginning of May and since then they have exploded...they definitely loved my windowsill and now they seem to really love my greenhouse.
i have a few sprouting from root divisions out in direct sun too.

there are sticky glands on the base of the flower where the seed pod forms that are similar to that on a drosera or pinguicula that are able to catch and digest small insects like gnats or springtails.
Halt, the trigger/hammer is only to transfer pollen
when an insect stimulates the flower, it swings forward and smacks the insect dusting it in pollen, resets itself in a few minutes, then cant be used again for a few hours.
