March update part 2:
rajah x lowii is not being as slow as the parents are at all
N. rajah x lowii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Case in point, those leaf jumps
N. rajah x lowii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. robcantleyi x boschiana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. bokorensis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

N. dubia x jamban by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. dubia x jamban by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Still hanging on, though never pitchers outside this time of year
N. lingulata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
This hybrid very distinctly expands pitchers way after they've opened, much like rajah
N. rajah x robcantleyi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Simple but elegant
N. sanguinea Orange by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
v
N. hamata x platychila by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

Most vent x eddy I've seen I haven't been much impressed by, but the one I ended up with seems to have more tooth and pronounced ribs than most.

Shoddy picture, but one of the first I've taken of a moderately well-developed rhombicaulis pitcher (it likes shade, but not quite as much as this little guy is getting right now...rearrangements in order)
N. rhombicaulis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. leonardoi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Still hands-down one of the best hybrids created:
N. villosa x hamata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Was hoping for this cross to be a little flashier...
N. spathulata x platychila by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
But I think, even as pale as the uppers are they have hybrid potential. Which is good, because it's about to bloom
N. spathulata x platychila by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. maxima "wavy leaf" BE-3786 by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. Rokko "Exotica" x ((inermis x singalana) x mira) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. platychila x robcantleyi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. robcantleyi x (aristolochioides x spectabilis) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. sibuyanensis x merrilliana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
I think this was another cross made with thez_yo
N. (boschiana x campanulata) x ('Helen' x spectabilis PB) C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. longifolia "Dark" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. bracteosa by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. bokorensis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. rosea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. rosea by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Out of all the siblings, this one doesn't have quite as flashy a pitcher shape, but it retained the most peltate tendency
N. (Rokko x (sp. Indochina x aristolochioides)) x clipeata HC C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. kerrii HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. (maxima "miniature" x "Miranda") x (aristolochioides x spectabilis) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa "red" x naga HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Part 2 shortly...

Part 2 for this month:
The producer of several of my funky small hybrids. Now if only it would bloom again rather than revert to basals...
N. maxima "Miniature" x "Miranda" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. veitchii Batu Lawi SG by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. Rokko "Exotica" x (spectabilis x mira) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x talangensis HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x talangensis HC C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x talangensis HC D by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
eddy skipped pitchers on a leaf or two and also shrank with a leaf or two...then jumped right back up
N. edwardsiana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Upper/lower contrast is strong with this one
N. Bill Bailey by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
I think the intermediates might look the best on this cross
N. hamata x platychila by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
A hard to beat classic
N. x briggsiana "red" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x briggsiana "red" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. truncata x mikei by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Whole mess of stuff here
N. "eymae" BE-3736, zakriana, robcantleyi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Another simple cross that really does just get it right
N. ventricosa x robcantleyi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. mindanaoensis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. faizaliana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. vogelii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

N. eustachya x tenuis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. eustachya x tenuis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. eustachya x tenuis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Another plant that really needs to flower because it shot straight to the top of the tent and also has a basal now
N. naga HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. naga HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
One of the other two clones finally making decent pitchers again
N. naga HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x trusmadiensis AW by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Another villosa hybrid that I just seem to have gotten the right mix on. More curiously: you can't see it without getting really close in, but it's got the double row of teeth that villosa has
N. villosa x veitchii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

N. benstonei by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
It was tiny, but I finally got a properly developed jacq pitcher with full-on crazy peristome
N. jacquelineae by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. jacquelineae by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
And this cross is making uppers again
N. (lowii x talangensis) x vogelii HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. (lowii x talangensis) x vogelii HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
This peristome is now almost solid black
N. (lowii x talangensis) x vogelii HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
The other one stays stripey and brighter
N. (lowii x talangensis) x vogelii HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. (lowii x talangensis) x vogelii HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
A decently shaped bellii pitcher for once too
N. bellii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
And some exciting new arrivals...
N. truncata x hamata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. robcantleyi x lowii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. robcantleyi x ephippiata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. sibuyanensis x ephippiata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

N. spathulata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x voeglii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x voeglii by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
And another new arrival
N. cornuta AW by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

Part 2 shortly...

spath x jacq making uppers again, and I hope that means it flowers again too because I have new pollen I really want to pair it with
N. spathulata x jacquelineae by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
This cross also starting to grow on me...the teeth are basically lost, but the shaping is good
N. burbidgeae x hamata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. naga PB x truncata Pasian Red by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. naga PB x truncata Pasian Red by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. (vetichii x platychila) x truncata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Starting to get the characteristic fat traps on ulu...and really prominent hairs
N. ulukaliana Genting SG by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. truncata x spectabilis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa K EP x alba AW by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. orbiculata OP HC D by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. orbiculata OP HC C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Missed it newly opened...but this is the first upper on this plant EVER. Clearly has a lot of inermis influence
N. Rokko "Exotica" x ((inermis x singalana) x mira) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

part 2 because apparently still limited to 20 pics in a post...
Starting to get intermediates on this cross
N. x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. x splendiana x (eymae x ephippiata) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. stenophylla by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. Rokko "Exotica" x (spectabilis x mira) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Oh and just because: the mascot went with me to Jeremiah's Open House, got a photo with his giant rajah x eddy
Embron with a Monster by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

Not variegated, but it definitely makes a good mimicry of it in the uppers
N. ventricosa "K" EP x alba AW by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
A highly promising seedling that's finally started to take off
N. boschiana x truncata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Nearly upper pitchers on kongkandana again. I'm hoping it or one of the other vining species flowers finally...particularly since my rosea broke my heart by secretly making a stalk and sending it straight into a light to fry it...
N. kongkandana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Nearly a foot tall now, and the next leaf is even bigger
N. truncata x edwardsiana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Another promising giant cross that has also already proven it's obnoxiously vigorous (already a new pitcher on it, another forming, and the new leaf twice the size of all previous)
N. truncata x northiana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Also a brand new arrival that I've been meaning to get for a while
N. sericea Irou Trail by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Freebie that I put a question mark on because it's extremely different looking from the other confirmed ulu that I have...both in pitcher and leaf. But it's got the lid fuzz
N. ulukaliana? SG by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x sibuyanensis HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

campy attempt number two; might be jinxing it to say, but it's looking a lot better this time. Pitchers actually look species-appropriate and the newest leaves are getting bigger
N. campanulata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Also finally snagged a sanguinea that lives up to the name
N. sanguinea BE-4066 by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. orbiculata OP HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
This trap looks cool, but the newest one is so much fatter and way better. I'll get a pic probably for the next photo round
N. orbiculata OP HC C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Probably the darkest plant of this bunch, though possible the one extra I have could beat it
N. boschiana x "Gentle- mixta type" HC B by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x talangensis HC C by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. sibuyanensis BE-4029 by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
This hybrid is proving to be surprisingly fast growing, though new traps a bit slow to appear. Massive potential though
N. sibuyanensis x ephippiata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Always spectacular, but definitely needs a repot
N. burbidgeae x robcantleyi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. northiana x veitchii "Candy Dreams" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. northiana x veitchii "Candy Dreams" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. lowii x campanulata by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. hirsuta Gunung Serapi by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Mascot helping repot
N. ventricosa x tiveyi HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. ventricosa x tiveyi HC A by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
alisaputrana fully darkened. Unsure if I like it better this way, or newly opened with the strong strawberry and black cherry stripes
N. x alisaputrana by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
First uppers on this hybrid, and they look just as good as the lowers
N. robcantleyi x tenuis by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
Funky teeny thing that's definitely showing some platy traits
N. maxima "Tentena" x (veitchii x platychila) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
And another mini hybrid that's producing flowers (male) for the first time
N. (maxima "Miniature" x "Miranda" x (aristolochioides x spectabilis) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
N. (maxima "Miniature" x "Miranda" x (aristolochioides x spectabilis) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
