Sorry they aren't too great, but I'm still in a back brace with weight/lifting/moving restrictions :ohno:
They are the less-bad pics though :p

Man... this makes me miss Australia so much. My fascination with ornithology has ebbed since moving away.

Aww, you should get into it some more! You know the guy who does tours of Neps over yonder will do a bird tour too right? Look here --> http://www.wildborneo.com.my/trips.html

Here's some more of that bird hopping around :p

Is that a hornbill below the rainbow lorikeet and above the peacock?

Oh, wonderful!!

Liz: thanks!

mato: I have no idea. I got some other blurry pics that um... I think one of these is actually a hornbill and I don't think the one you're asking about is, but I know nothing about birds. God these pics are awful. I wish I could use my back already :crap::

Should you drop by San Diego, there are at least three walk-in aviaries (including a hummingbird one) and tons of huge cages filled with birds all over the place from all over the place (arctic, australia, bunch of eagles, etc.). I did it no justice today.

This is getting me excited for my new job, photographer in the lorikeet aviary at Busch Gardens.

thanks for posting thez, and your new job sounds fun wireman good luck
