Snails!

I hate these slimy, disgusting things! I've been battling them for a while now. On my outdoor plants... Okay, fine. I can accept critters crawl on them. But in my pots inside my dew terrarium? Now that I cannot live with. So far they haven't done any damage but its time for them to go bye-bye. I've tried some weaker solutions but I need something better safe for a wide range of plants: carnivorous, cactus and succulent. Suggestions?

surround the edges of the terrarium with copper tape. they wont cross it works for snails and slugs!

it is sold with stained glass supplies as well and may be cheaper than the stuff marketed for this particular application.

Hm, interesting. That may work for outside.

I think the ones in my tanks are actually coming from the soil though since the plant trays are elevated over a pool of water. I don't think snails would like that.

ah, i see. if they must be killed, i guggest a product such as this:

normallly youd sprinkle it on the soil surface but since they are nutrient sensitive CPs, id make a few feeding stations with inverted jar lids.
