Seed stratification max and min?

Hi there everyone, im Dante, from Argentina.
I was wondering, is there any min or max period of time for seed stratification?
Once you start the cold stratification, do you need to leave them AT LEAST for, let's say, 4 weeks? Or you can start germinating the seeds after 2 weeks, maybe even one?
And what about the maximum period a seed can endure stratification? 2 months? 4 months? 6 months? Or even longer?

I've found 3 months to be the sweet spot for stratifying Sarracenia seeds. Higher germination rates and very healthy seedlings.
