1. Will flowering weaken the plant?
2. Is this hybrid (complex cross of (Sarracenia purpurea x S. psittacina) x (S. leucophylla x S. psittacina)) self-fertile?
3. How long does the flower-to-seed process take?

Thanks!

You have to fertilize it, but the pollination process will produce plants. September-October is seed collecing time here, but flowering so late may mean as late as November for you. To fertilize, see the pinned topic on the NASC thread for the How to's on fertilization.

You're welcome! Off to work!!!!!!!!!

I am wondering if it will matter that it flowers late since I am in Singapore.

Just a note, this is not a cultivar so it should be x umlauftiana. With out the single quoting
