Sarracenia purpurea

Well i actually got a Sarracenia Purp. from Target
but since im new with Sarracenias i noticed that the pitchers contained no liquid inside. What should i do? Put some distilled water inside or wait for some new pitchers with new liquid inside

with s. Pupurea you have to fill the pitchers partially with distilled water. The pitchers are opened the way they are to collect rainwater in the wild

Serebi, just make sure you keep in mind that all sarracenia have dormancy requirements. If it starts dying on you, keep in barely damp in a cool place and bring it on out in spring and you should be fine.
