not much to look at but I thought I would post pics anyway.
I won't ever plant in live lfs again either.
will the live lfs harm the seedlings in any way?

Looking good. The LFS is only harmful when it grows before the seeds have germinated, blocking the light they needto germinate. At the size they are though, they can live in LFS for life if you wanted.

Wonderful! How long ago did those germinate and how are you growing them?

I need to get my hands on some S. oreophila and S. rosea seeds or plants to fill out my Sarracenia collection.

about 9 months old.
put them outside last summer left them out till pot got frozen solid.
brought inside, put in mini greenhouse NE facing gets sunlight plus 2 24" daylight bulbs that come on at 3:00 off at 10:00 pm.
germination was near 100% with fridge stratification in pots.

ChronoKiento,
stratified for 4 weeks in the fridge.
they were stratified in the substrate and pots they were to be grown in.
alittle spray of fungicide before stratification helps.

Nice looking plants. I love sarr seedlings. They are so adorable.

xvart.

Ahh, 4 weeks that's good then. I stratified my S. purpurea seeds for 5 weeks and was worried that it was too short, but I guess not!
