Repoting question on D.binata.

bluebird

Rub my belly!
I have a D.binata that I bought last spring it's been growing well in a 3inch pot and I'd like to repot it into a 6 inch pot would it be best to wait till next spring or will it be ok also should I just put the whole plant with media in or should I get the old media out and pot and repot the sundew like that?

I also would like to know how long are the roots of D.binata and D.capensis?

Thanks for the help.

Roots are pretty long for these sundews. A few inches or so. If you replant now you should transfer the plant with the soil. If you wait untill next spring you can put in new soil. I don't think you should renew soil unless there are pest or the soil is turning into gunk.
