raff pitcher being weird

what's going on with this new rafflesiana gigantea pitcher? It looks as though the peristome is trying to fold out before the lid opens, or maybe the lid's just being weird. Anyone else had this happen?

not sure what is though... my raf hasn't done anything like that, looks like the peristome thinks it is time to fold.

That's how its supposed to happen. That action eventually pops the lid open and then the peristome folds back the rest of the way.

My looks the same and all the pitchers are perfect at the end...

It's good to know it open, the first time I see the my raff get a pitcher get worried too, it was looking like the lid was going to explode...
