Pygmys

Looking for you pgymy Drosera experts out there. I have some that grow nice and round and look great, but others that get 'leggy'. These are not the erect types of sundews, I will have scorpiodes in one pot looking beautiful but the next pot over from the same batch of gemmae grow looking like roseanna.

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Peter,

I have had similar problems. I think the biggest factors to consider are probably soil mix and water. I have two different batches of gemmae where in one soil mix (I don't know the exact mix I used for either) ALL the plants did excellently while in the other, less sandy mix they almost all died.
